I read this book in 2 days. It makes you think about what you are doing as a parent, being more intentional about the consequences of parenting decisions. The best part is that the steps are easy to follow, have great results, and build up our children rather than tearing them down.

This book has great ideas that can be applied to many relationships not just parenting. As I read this book I found it to be very positive. I enjoyed reading it!

Mr. Bates does an excellent job of positively suggesting ways to help parents raise their children. I highly recommend this book. I have suggested to my children who are now young parents to read this book. When I was a kindergarten teacher, Mr. Bates was my principal. I was always impressed with the way he handled those children who came to his office. He was also helpful with us as teachers in dealing with children in our classrooms. Parents would benefit by reading this book.
